The Chinese Calligraphist family

Since I am not very proficient when it comes to IT and the internet and since my English is rather poor, I need the help of my trusted team at TheChineseCalligrahist.com. As we all like to know whom we are dealing with, I am happy to introduce the people behind our blog to you.

My daughter Lulu

Lulu, the passionate

My daughter Lulu has been fascinated with calligraphy since a very young age… I guess it lies in the family. She had the chance to be the first one in our family to spend a couple of months abroad in the US where she greatly improved her English so that now the skills she acquired are of great help when it comes to editing articles and shooting Youtube clips.

Ye Lang, our designer

the creative Ye Lang

He is Lulu’s classmate and does all the layouts and he is also a great help when it comes to technical issues related to the internet. I have to thank him a lot, because he is always so patient with me explaining how the computer and the entire internet stuff works. Besides from being a good web designer, Ye Lang is also a quite descent calligraphist, since he took some calligraphy classes at university.

YaoYao, the sweetheart

YaoYao, the sweetheart

My third great help is YaoYao who is good friends with my daughter Lulu. She helps me with editing and proofreading all the content on my site. Her English is very good and much better than mine. She helps me to improve my English at the same time so that I can hopefully write more posts entirely by myself in the future.

We are all very excited about this project since none of us has ever done anything like it before. Besides, we are very happy that we are able to reach more and more people from the entire world who are interested in Chinese culture and art. It is a great feeling to see that what you love and are passionate about can be shared with people living that far away.

My goal is that this blog will be carried on by art lovers from all over the world and that it will be a place for artists to exchange and share their experiences and ideas. It would be great to introduce even more people to this wonderful art and to encourage them to try Chinese and Japanese calligraphy.

In order to make this website a great source of information for calligraphy lovers from all corners of the globe, we need your participation, your feedback and your comments and we try to incorporate all advice and suggestions into our site.

Thank you for your support!
